Denise:  Event summary from Jan. 11 and pitch for RSVP attendees for Feb. 1, Native Plant Sow Workshop.

Upcoming Events:  

• Native Plant Sow Workshop, Wing Center, 24 Upper Main St. Morrisville.

9am-10:30 am.  Limit of 30 participants so please sign up tonight to secure a seat.  We will utilize a google sheet to share the list of sign-ups/attendees.

Volunteers Needed:  

• One (1) Volunteer to help set up and take down tables, chairs, etc. at 8:30 am
• Write a short description of the event for Community Updates section of the N&C and Stowe Reporter  - Denise will write and send
• Create a flyer to post at Library's, MOCO, Post Office, etc.
• Post on FPF

Grant opportunity:  One Hive Foundation, brief overview from Denise on focus areas and what projects fit our mission.

Presentation:

World of Discovery:  How Science and Heart can Make You a More Ecological Gardener, Nancy Lawson, a national columnist and author of “The Humane Gardener: Nurturing Backyard Habitat for Wildlife” and “Wildscape:  Trilling Chipmunks, Beckoning Blooms, Salty Butterfly’s and Other Sensory Wonders of Nature.”
