Growing Conditions: It preferes nutrient rich well drained soils but also lijes  water so located in mosit areas.Chokeberries are resistant to drought, insects, pollution, and disease. 

Ecological Benefits: Flowers and fruit attract numerous polinators and wildlife. The berries are used in dyes and tastes great with a slight dry astribent aftertase (thus the name).
