Northwest Zone Local Funding Pool Announced!

We are thrilled to announce that an additional $1.5 million has been awarded through Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) for spending across Grand Isle, Franklin, and Lamoille Counties in 2025!

All conservation practices available through the USDA-NRCS Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP) are eligible for this funding.

This is a unique opportunity for Northwest Vermont producers to access financial assistance to achieve a variety of conservation goals.

There are TWO application deadlines: August 23 and October 31, 2024. Please note that the deadline for all other USDA-NRCS programs is August 23 only.

Producers, ranchers, and forest landowners who own, lease, or have an interest in operating agricultural land in Grand Isle, Franklin, and Lamoille counties are eligible. Records must be established with the Farm Service Agency prior to applying.
