Growing Conditions: Moist, fertile, cool soils and is adaptable to a sun to shade gradient.
Ecological Benefits: Songbirds, ground birds and mammals use this species. It attracts butterfly pollinators, and is the larval host for the Eastern Tiger Swallowtail.
